Laine - Nordic Knit Life

Laine is a high-quality Nordic knit & lifestyle magazine for knit folks. Laine cherish natural fibres, slow living, local craftsmanship and beautiful, simple things in life. Their intention is to inspire you to gather and share, to be part of a community of like-minded knitters, makers and thinkers from near and far. Knitting is more than just knit, knit, purl. It is a feeling. Since 2020, Laine publish books including the hugely popular 52 Weeks of Shawls and Worsted by Aimée Gille. 

Laine is a publishing house based in Finland. They publish books focusing on knitting, crafts, food and lifestyle, as well as Laine, their international knitting magazine that we absolutely love at The Needle Store. 

Laine Magazine has been published since 2016. It includes patterns from leading knitwear designers, insightful, long-format stories from the world of wool, interviews, seasonal recipes and strong, visual storytelling. The print magazine is published in both English and Finnish.
